Who we are

TECHNICALWAYS LIMITED (“Technical Ways”, “we”) is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 13349372, with our registered office at 45 Portman Drive, Woodford Green, IG8 8QU. What we collect

  • Enquiries: your name, email, company, phone number and message when you use our contact form or email us.
  • Job applications: your name, contact details, CV, links you provide and any information in your covering message.
  • Technical data: our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How and why we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and provide our services — our legitimate interests, or steps prior to entering a contract.
  • To assess job applications — steps prior to entering an employment contract and our legitimate interest in recruiting.
  • To keep our website and systems secure — our legitimate interests.
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to two years unless you become a client. Unsuccessful applications are deleted after six months unless you ask us to keep your CV on file for longer. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business (such as hosting and email), under appropriate contracts, or where required by law. Our website and email are hosted on servers within the European Economic Area.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email info@technicalways.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
